We currently have 4 very different classes: Trust the Text with Hannah Ryan,

Essential Craft Preparation with Peter Frisch, Acting Without Limits with Jeanette Knight and Finding the Funny with Samantha Goldstein.


Whether new or pro, Hannah Ryan’s Trust the Text will give you a roadmap to a complete understanding of your role. You'll learn to approach new and developing pieces of theatre with an action based objective. Learn more/sign-up. Peter Frisch’s Essential Craft Preparation will open your eyes to new and creative ways to develop and express your character. Students will be encouraged to approach their work boldly and with a spirited sense of play. Learn more/sign-up. In Acting Without Limits, Jeanette Knight's patient guidance will help you break through barriers of confidence, polish your performance and take you to your next level. Learn more/sign up. Meredith Garretson, Director

Meredith Garretson is an artist & activist committed to making art that is anti-racist, anti-capitalist, inclusive, and reflective of the society we wish to build. Catch her heavily recurring role as Kate Hawthorne in RESIDENT ALIEN on Syfy, due to air in January 2021. 











Peter Frisch, Director

Peter Frisch has directed 160 productions in the New York and regional theatre, produced 150 hours of network television, was Head of Drama at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, and has been on conservatory faculties at Carnegie, The Juilliard School, Harvard and Boston Universities. Through his private professional practice, The Frisch Approach, he has taught hundreds of actors in New York, Boston and Los Angeles. His classes are constructive, specific, innovative and imagination-based.




Samantha Goldstein, Director

Samantha Goldstein has taught comedy, literature and creative writing for over two decades, including a course called The Yada Yada Factor: Jewish Humor from the Catskills to Seinfeld, which she created at the University of California San Diego. She has directed and acted in comedies in San Diego theater and film for more than 12 years, and is trained in stand-up comedy, improv, and comedic public speaking.
