Experience the thrill of performing Shakespeare in front of a live audience...
Join our Shakespeare director Robert Nickel for a fun filled 6 week journey through the riches of Shakespeare's language, the subtlety of his characters, and the power of his storytelling. Whether brand new or seasoned, you will emerge a stronger actor, with skills that translate to every role you will ever play. It can truly be said that, once you can master the Bard, you can master anything. This workshop culminates with 2 outdoor public performances.

The course is taught by Robert Nickel, whose own love affair with Shakespeare traces back to his casting as Sir Andrew Aguecheek in a Point Loma High production of Twelfth Night. Robert went on to earn his B.A. in Theater from Stanford, studying Shakespeare under Ron Rebholz. He has made Shakespeare a lifelong passion and is thrilled to have an opportunity of sharing that passion with you!
